I made a template / educational resource for you to learn more about the impact of not sleeping, the benefits and actionable steps you can take to sleep more. This resource is primarily targeted for college students, but still very much applicable to anyone!

Importance of Sleep

Let's reflect:

Do you sleep less than 8 hours a day? Do you pull all nighters?

Before you do your next all nighter, remember this:

<aside> 😵 Sleeping more the next day(s) cannot recover one night of lost sleep.

Sleeping helps consolidate information and memories learned while awake, so if you are studying for a big test, it's better to sleep more rather than stay up all night.

4 hours of sleep can impair glucose removal so much that it would be at a level considered pre-diabetic.

Sleep affects the immune function, which in turn affects the chances of getting sick. The quality and quantity of sleep helps determine recovery and prevents getting you sick. You don't wanna be sick right before an important exam!

One way to make sure you get enough sleep is the track the hours you sleep! Use the provided templates to see your hours overtime, as well as how you felt after each sleep.

To use the template, fill out the "Sleep Time", "Wake Up Time" and "Feeling". If you had a dream, relate it to a dream.
